| Mount & Cut |

| Chipboard or EVA Foam |
| |
You can mount your counters either on chip board or 2mm EVA foam sheets. You can find both at your local hobby supply store. EVA is easier to cut and comes in a variety of colors.

| |
| Hex Tiles and Markers |
| |
Cut the hex tiles into individual hexes and cut the markers into 7 blocks; 1 block for each type. Leave at least a 1/4 inch margin all the way around each block.
| |
If you are using glue, place a hex tile or block face down on a newspaper. Apply white glue to the back and then smear the glue around with your finger until you have a thin coat covering the entire hex or block. Next, pick up the hex or block and apply it to the chip board or EVA. Use a cloth or paper towell to press the hex or block to the chip board or EVA - do not rub. Put the glued hex or block on a flat surface and place several books on top of it. Allow it to dry overnight.

| Unit Counters |
| |
Cut the unit counters fronts into 6 blocks, one for each type and color. Mount each front block as described above and wait them to dry. Then use scissors or a pen knife to cut the margin away from each block. Do not cut out the individual counters at this time.
| |
Next, cut out the 6 blocks of unit counter backs without leaving a margin. Then make sure the front block and back block have the same orientation and glue the back block to the back of the mounted front block.

Finally, after any glue has dried over night, use scissors or a pen knife to cut out the individual counters.
